We are super lucky to have these award winning sought after vendors at the fair. Who wouldn’t like to come along and meet them? ….. Thought so… Here’s a bit about the,

What do you love best about what you do?

It has to be being trusted with recording the most incredible day of our clients lives……We get to meet so many different people and share this amazing day with them, and the fact that our work bring so much enjoyment to our couples is truly something very special.

Whats your favourite thing to do on your day off?

Jen is an extreme downhill bike rider so on her days off you’ll find her riding the gondola in Queenstown or flying through any of the singletracks in the forest in Wanaka. During the winter Anna manages to sneak up the mountain for a couple of hours most days to clock up as many days as she can skiing her favourite mountain Treble Cone. Exhausted from this extreme lifestyle, we both have an insatiable taste for the delectable local food and wine.

Tell us something about you

Anna: I’m an ex-punk rocker from London and I’ve always had a love affair with photography. When tourists weren’t taking photos of me in my punky poses, I was shooting film myself, and loved nothing more than spending hours in my darkroom. Coming from this alternative background, I was blown away to be awarded the title of Master Photographer by the NZIPP last year

Jen: I grew up with cameras and photography all around me. Although I shoot digital at weddings, I love shooting film, and do so for all of my personal work. Being on my bike, surfing, snowboarding, camping.. you name it… anything fun.. I’m there! The highlight of my career so far was being awarded a rare Gold with Distinction at the NZIPP awards last year. I never dreamed of achieving an award of this level.

What do you think is new and upcoming in weddings

We’ve noticed more and more couples are asking the celebrant to request that the guests don’t take photos during the ceremony as they want them to enjoy the moment rather than hiding behind an Ipad or phone! We’ve also noticed a trend of couples asking their guests to refrain from posting photos on social media until their official photos are ready. Its awesome to see photos being incorporated into the day in other ways like photo booths and polaroids.

What can guests expect from you at the fair that they maybe wouldn’t see otherwise

Although we have over 70 national and international awards for photography under our belt, we’re just a fun, happy team that love our jobs and look forward to sharing our enthusiasm with you. We’re super friendly so pop over to our stand as we’d love to hear more about YOU!!
