What do you love best about what you do?
I love working with couples to design a menu to suite their day, and to reflect who they are and their tastes. We often have couples that are from different backgrounds, and want to incorporate a little bit of each country into their menu, so it’s great to be able to customise their menu just for them.
Whats your favourite thing to do on your day off?
Jet boating in the summer, skiing in the winter!

Born in the Bay of Islands, we moved to QT for one ski season 15 years ago and we’re still here! We started In2Food catering in 2003 when we saw the need for a specialist off-site caterer in Queenstown, and I really enjoy the challenge of owning our own business; it’s very rewarding
Whats do you think is new and upcoming in weddings?
When it comes to food, we’re finding the platter / sharing / family style is becoming more popular, as it gives guests more options of food to try and it’s a great way to get everyone talking round the table! Sustainable and local produce are also high on couple’s requests when choosing their menu. More & more couples are also opting to use their wedding cake as dessert, or choosing a “cheese” wheel cake for something a bit different, which can be served on a cheeseboard later in the evening when guests have been dancing the night away and need a late night nibble!
What can guests expect from you at the fair (that maybe they wouldn’t otherwise see)?
They’ll get to sample some of our fabulous food!
