Here is a bit about the Woodland Winter Team as we will be seeing a amazing photo shoot from them before the fair to get excited.

Step through the arch into the barn at Cossars, and be inspired by this Winter Woodland setting.  The team have put together a rich palate of warmth and abundance to inspire any bride wanting a winter wedding, making it truly special and significant. From the contrast of gold charger plates, fresh moss, candles, and rich red blooms, to the smell of freshly brewed hot chocolate, from our very own hot chocolate and lolly buffet, to the inspiring head table decoration that could include images of your significant moments nestled amongst the blooms over head. Family style winter treats will also adorn the tables.

For the bride who wants to a contrasting white and silver theme we have a table set under the silver grey of the olive trees, the perfect backdrop, with vintage lace ribbons and flowers hanging from the trees.  Table complete with warm rugs and hottie bottles……  Off to the right will be the ceremony area, and the woodlands team  is offering mini- shoots complete with props so you can have a sneek peek of how you will feel on your special day.

Oh Buttercup

Oh Buttercup Events is a décor wedding hire company & the aim has always been to offer fun, on-trend and unique items for hire. This certainly fills one of my personal pastimes – shopping. It’s a good excuse to buy pretty things!

I love the creativity that comes with weddings and events – everyone has their own style and own personalisation to add to the day. Being able to explore different styles, and then seeing it all come together is just magic.

The style zone we are showcasing at the Fair is so on trend at the moment and really makes it easy to display some of our new (and most popular) décor. There will also be some fantastic antique and vintage pieces on display which can really define an area – drink stations, guestbook tables and the like.

Aside from weddings I love nothing more than catching up with friends & family, a cold beverage and soaking up some Vitamin D! I love agood chat, so am looking forward to meeting some lovely couples and their families.

Ana Connor Celebrant

I am an independent marriage celebrant and a member of the Celebrants Association (CANZ).  Since I gained my registration I have conducted wedding ceremonies for all kinds of people at many different locations around Christchurch and Canterbury.  I see my role is to create a meaningful, unique and personal ceremony, which reflects the couple and their wishes and values. To achieve this, I interview each couple and try to tell their story as part of the wedding ceremony.  I am always happy to include ideas and traditions which people bring to me.

I hope to talk with couples about what happens in a wedding ceremony and the role of the celebrant.  I find that people know they need a celebrant, but aren’t quite sure what to expect in terms of the service we offer.

The Drawing Room:

Invitation Stationery at The Drawing Room are the South island’s only speciality wedding invitation stationery store, supplying a full range of wedding invitation supplies and accessories.

We can help you create wedding invitations that will set the tone and style of your wedding, whether it be a little bit whimsical, vintage inspired, country rustic, or something more formal and elegant.

G & T Catering

G&T Catering and Events is all about being a little different. We love to ensure that all our menus are tailored to our clients needs so that they are able to have the most fantastic day!

We are absolutely loving french platter style menus at the moment, using a selection of meats and salmon, hearty fresh salads, followed by some gorgeous sweet treats for dessert. We are also looking forward to doing a couple of Food Station style weddings this year with a selection of items available from various stations around the Courtyard at Cossars.

The Wedding fair will be super exciting for us. Having been in business for only 4 months, we are really looking forward to it and seeing what it could hold for us in the future. We will have available to view a couple of different platter options, with Hot Choc and sweet treat tasting, along with Fresh Hot Soup and Cake Jars available for purchase.
